Grado is the beach for dogs

The two beaches will be accessible until August 31st. The two bathing areas for 4-legged friends have been inaugurated: the Snoopy Beach (in Grado Pineta in viale dell’Orione – Airone beach) and the Lido di Fido (inside the main beach GIT, an area bordering the beach “Al Bosco” – Arenile di Grado) is an equipped area where it is finally possible to spend days of sun and sea in the company of your dogs. As part of the project, the Province of Gorizia has purchased more than a hundred folding beds customized with the logo of its 4-legged Sportello. Up to 120 pets can access it, each umbrella has an available space of about 50 square meters, there is also an agility area, shower and veterinary service. Before entering the beach, every pet must have a flea collar; on the beach it must be kept on a leash (minimum length of 1.50 meters and maximum of 2.00 meters), permanently fixed to the attachment ring provided at the base of the umbrella support pole; solution that allows the animal to always use a shaded area. The owner or companion is also obliged to have with him a muzzle, rigid or soft, to be applied in case of risk to his animal, to protect the safety of other people and / or animals, both on his own initiative that at the request of the internal security surveillance staff in the structure or the competent authorities such as ASL and Local Police. Access to the sea area intended for animal bathing is allowed for no more than 10 units at a time. During the stay in the water, the presence of the owner or companion is mandatory, who must also, at the end of the bath of your pet, reinsure on a leash.
